Holy shit where do I start with this. This 2 tenth of a mile stretch of highway has eaten up more that a week work of my life over the past 5 years. Unfortunately I live in NKY and work in Cincinnati so on a daily basis I have to cross this beast. I would love to find the jackass who designed the bridge and take his t-square and shove it up his ass. I built a better bridge with Mr. Dakin in 9th grade shop class with Balsa wood. This bridge is designed to carry a load of 30000 cars a day, but approximately 120000 cars a day attempts to cross it.
Usually in the mornings from around 7 to 930 the traffic is backed up anywhere from 15-35 minute delay either way and the same thing can be said in the evening from 4-630. So on a perfect day it can take 30 minutes to drive about 3 miles across the bridge.
Amazingly though more times then you could ever imagine a car will break down on the bridge or there will be a wreck. I would say on average of 2 times a week this occurs. What I can’t understand is of all the places to wreck or breakdown what are the freakin chances of it happening on this bridge. It’s two tenths of a damn mile! Every stretch of highway in our nation had the same accident/breakdown rate as this bridge the interstates would never move. There would be thousands of cars lined up along the roads because there would be enough tow trucks to haul them away. That is if the tow truck made it but probability says it would break down. I looked for an article some where explaining this phenomenon but I couldn’t find one. I am going to keep a picture log of broken down and wrecks on the bridge. I have one saved I’ll upload tomorrow. Also I want to take the time to thank anyone who’s car has broken down on the bridge and delayed my time getting home to play video games. You are a true American jackass.
I’m sure tomorrow as I commute to work it will be my day to break down on the bridge, that’s how Karma works. But you know what if it happens I’ll be happy to be a statistic and maybe I can get some insight from the cop about how many times a week this happens.
Ask anyone who lives in the natti this bridge is 10 lbs of bull shit.
