Annette and I Decided to celebrate our Valentines a few days early. We made reservations at Belterra Resort and Casino. They had a sweet deal where you reserve a room and get $100 resort credit. With the credit I made reservations at Jeff Ruby’s Steak house. This place holds a little nostalgia for us, we ate their for our first anniversary. If you’ve never ate a Jeff Ruby’s Steak house you haven’t experienced life. It’s a tad bit expensive, even with the credit it cost us $70. The meal was fantastic, but the real kicker was our room. We booked a King room but I hit the lottery. They had a overbooking problem and we got an upgrade to a SUITE. It had a Super King bed and sectional couch and a SPA bathtub with a walking shower. Pretty damn amazing and it cost nothing more. Here’s a few pics of what Annette and I called the super sweet suite.
They only thing that was ghetto busted was the 27″ tv they bought when Belterra opened. Wish I would have took a picture but they were so old it would have set my phone back 12 years and it would have turned into Stan’s old phone.
We rocked the casino the first night and I hit up a new game called Ultimate Texas Hold Em. Its a table game where you play against the dealer. I lost my ass completely so for the record I say f’that game. I left Annette along and she went and got rocked by what I call the Wheel of Misfortune. It’s a large extravagant slot machine designed to suck the life and fortunes of families. The problem with Annette and she wont admit it is that she doesn’t know when to get up and quit playing. She gets up quite a bit and blows it all back into the casino. Nice investment Cha-Chi.
We go to bed down 100 bucks. I get up in the morning and decide I have to be the family’s fortune savior. I dash down to the blackjack table and grab $50 bucks of chips. I start out good but like all luck I turded out a little . I hopped up with $40 chips left with the intentions to cash out and go home but I saw a glimmer in my eye at the roulette table. I set down get $40 chips and started playing my numbers 33, 23, 18, 20, and 8. They all have meaning and I’ll give out prizes to anyone who know their meaning, except Annette she knows all the answers.
Long story short 18 hits once and 33 hits 5 times and i love with $180. Family fortune saved! Were back home and we can still pay rent. GO JA$E
