Starting to get my Blog back on. Seeing my boys Dhigh, Skinny Beard, and Jeragno getting their blog on, has put me back in the mood to blog again. One thing I did by accident, trying to clean up the comment spam I deleted every one’s comments, apologies to all those who posted comments. Trust me, I love comments, I want comments, and I encourage comments. You will have to sign up for an account to keep the spam down. As long as I can verify you, I’ll let you post on my blog. If I didn’t do this there would be piles of spam on here.
I will be covering a varity of subjects from sports, video games, life, marriage, technology,TV, Wal-mart hijinks, and really anything else that comes to mind. I’m going to be trying to update this regularly, either on my laptop or on my iPhone.

Thist past week I have learned a couple of invaluable life lessons that I think I should share with the world. The first one I learned from a tragic event that occurred on the High Seas on the other side of the world. The other I learned in Columbus while hanging out with my good buddy Razor.
Life Lesson #1: Never Trust a Pirate
Apparently even in the 2ks real piracy is hot on the streets. Now i’m not talking about some bull shit I download mp3 on the internet piracy. I’m talking about pirate ships, peg legs, eye patches, parrots, and treasure. Old school when someone says treasure your thinking gold and diamonds, but in this day and age were talkin about Human bounty.
Some how they get on a tiny boat and roll up on a large ass freighter, throw a grapple up, climb up, and then more climb up, and then they take over the boat. What I don’t understand is how they managed to do all this without someone cutting the rope, or what ever you do to stop pirates from climbing on your ship. NOTE TO ALL BOAT OWNERS WHO CRUISE IN SOMOLIA WATERS: Carry a gun or a pair of scissors. But anyway to get back to point
When these brave men and women on that boat were faced with the threat they did what they had to do. The captain of this vessel offered him self to the pirates in exchange for the release of the crew. The pirates agreed but during the shuffle the crew managed to take on the pirates hostage. Impressive. They then offered the pirate back to the pirates in exchange for the captain. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal? Too bad they forgot they were dealing with pirates.
The pirates pulled the ole psyche! They keep the the captain and the pirate. So life lesson one DONT TURST PIRATES!
I was walking out of a Buy backs in Columbus and as I was starting to get in my car these guys pull around the parking lot with their windows rolled down screaming “We got a free home theater, who wants one.” Being a seeker of great deals, my friend and I flagged down the guy screaming.
He hops out of his suv and immediately starts in on a story about how they picked up this delivery and then they realized once they checked the delivery manifest they had gotten too many pieces, and they called their boss and he said to unload them before they made a delivery. He opened up his doors and showed us a combination of large speakers and home theaters. The brand name on them was Olin Ross on the Home Theaters and the speakers brand names Genesis Media Labs.
My buddy immediately made the comment that the speaker brand name sounded similar to another brand he had heard of before. When my buddy mentioned this they guy ran back to his car and pulled out a few catalogues that had a “review” of the system along with a price, $2500, was the price. The guy then started asking home much we would pay for a $2500 dollar home theater system. He started to get a little pushy at this point. He started talking about the atm near by we could go to and get some money to buy one.
After he opened the door and I saw the brand names I whipped out the iphone and googled that brand name. This was the first link. I read over that and I said, “Ray, lets get out of here this is a scam.” The con artist quickly got salty about being called out. I then started reading the post and he just keep saying “do you always believe what you read on the internet.” And then he and I went back a forth for a few minutes and we left. As we left they guys yelled, “We make more money than you do, doing this.” So if for some reason the scammer reads this I got a link for you.
